Helen Whittaker is an award-winning designer of stained glass windows and architectural sculpture in glass and copper. Helen gained an MA in Visual, Islamic and Traditional Arts at the Prince of Wales's Institute of Architecture. Helen also has a BA (Hons) from the University of Sunderland in three-dimensional design using glass and ceramics. She is an Associate of the British Society of Master Glass Painters, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and a Craft Scholar of the Prince's Foundation, having received the prestigious 'Hancock Medal' for her achievements. Helen has won a commission through the Stevens Competition run by the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass. Helen is the artist/designer at Barley Studio in York as well as a visiting tutor for the Prince's School of Traditional Arts.
